November 14, 2011

Meeting called to order at 11:35am by Vice Chair Justin Bones.

Roll Call: Justin Bones, Marcella Connor, Mary Strong, Merilyn Geshick, Jerome Whiteman on medical leave.

Others present: Mildred Holmes, Mary Holmes, LuAnn Drift, Peggy Connor, Phillis Boshey, Sidney Adams, Daniel Connor, Lorraine Oleary, Bernard Oleary, Marcy Drift, Myra Thompson, Janet Thompson, Caroline Boshey, John Whiteman, Pat Whiteman, Bev Miller, Teresa Drift, Marcus Knife Chief.

Motiion to approve minutes of August 8, 2011 metting with corrections, made by Peggy Connor second by Mary Strong. Motion Carried.

Motion to approve minutes of October 10, 2011 meeting with corrections, made by LuAnn Drift, second by Caroline Boshey. Motion Carried.

Motion made by Mary Strong to approve mission statement, second by Peggy Connor. Motion Carried.

Teresa Drift gives presentation on 2012 Elders trip . Earliest the 2012 trip dates can be planned for is October. An evaluation letter will be sent out, this is for the 2011 Grand Canyon trip also add where you would like to go in 2012.

Old business

Dog and cat problems discussed, this will be taken to Tribal Council again, hopefully they will have conservation work on this problem.

Discussion on break ins at Nett Lake and Vermillion, this will be taken to Tribal Council.

Phyllis Boshey is working on getting a round house, she has many ideas, Phyllis is requesting help from anyone who may be interested. We will bring this to Andy Datko, Sidra, and Tribal Council for any grants that can be written.

Water at the assisted living center was discussed.

We have many issues that we would like answers to, which we will take to the tribal council to numerous to mention, these are being discussed at our meetings.
