Myrna J. (Goodsky) Kelsey
Myrna J. (Goodsky) Kelsey, 75, of
Minneapolis, passed away on Tuesday,
November 19, 2013 at the Camden Care
Center in Minneapolis.
She was born Myrna Jeanette Goodsky on
August 11, 1938, at Sugarbush, the daughter
of Harold and Agnes (Caribou) Goodsky.
She moved to Minneapolis at the age of
13,and has resided in the Twin Cities area for
many years. Myrna worked for the Pillsbury
Company and for Dayton’s (she personally
knew Gov. Mark Dayton). Her family fondly
recalls that her greatest passion was that of
going to garage sales, and that she saved
most things she bought. Myrna had a found love of cats.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Darrell
Goodridge; and 2 sisters, Mabel and Mildred Goodsky.
Myrna is survived by her husband, Joseph; 5 children: Mahlon
Goodridge, Francis Goodridge, Sandra Kelsey, Joseph Kelsey and
Patrick Kelsey; 1 brother, Dayshun Goodsky; numerous grandchildren
and numerous great grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews , many
friends and her pet cats.
SERVICES: Traditional services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday (Nov.
23rd) at the Nett Lake Community Center, where visitation will begin
after 4:00 PM Friday. The Spiritual Advisor will be Jim Windigo.
Casket bearers will be family members. Interment will be Interment will be in the
Sugarbush Cemetery, near Orr.
